Olsberg, September 2022. As a longtime partner of POWTECH, MTS MessTechnik Sauerland GmbH will be present at the trade fair again this year. From September 27 to 29, 2022, the manufacturer of weighing and dosing technology will showcase its solutions for weighing, measuring and dosing various bulk materials in Hall 3, Stand 508.
Small and compact is the IPW S solid flow meter - designed for small flow rates from 1 to 6 m³/h. It thus expands the family of impact scales "downwards".
The IPW S is particularly suitable for continuous quantity measurement of powdery and fine-grained bulk materials, even with low bulk densities, such as seeds and grains, as well as granulates and powders. The product flow is gravimetrically recorded and evaluated in the vertical process flow.
The solid flow meter from MTS has a separate product and measuring chamber as well as two inspection doors. The robust mechanics and dust-proof housing of the IPW S guarantee high reliability and low maintenance cycles.
Since only the horizontal power of impact impulse of the impact plate ist measured, depositions of the bulk material on the impact plate have no influence on the zero point stability.
The IPW S is used for numerous tasks where exact quantity measurement is required within a closed conveying system: for determining in-process material flows, for inventory control or also for use in fast control processes.
In combination with the ModWeigh PPW control unit, the IPW S ensures reliable and accurate measurement results.
