Description

The control unit SIWAREX U is a simple and low-cost weighing electronic that can be directly integrated in SIMATIC systems.

Typical applications:

In static weighings in automation environment, also for legal-for-trade applications:

 

  • Control of dosing processes
  • Filling of solids and liquids
  • Level controls
  • Platform and table scales

 

Typical SIWAREX U applications comprise the connection to load cells and force sensors.

 

The module records the weight values quickly and reliably. Furthermore, the process values are directly transmitted. Freely programmable limits can monitor the process system as min/ max signals.

 

Operation of the SIWAREX U in SIMATIC means that complete integration of the weighing technology into the automation system is provided. Assembly and wiring are greatly simplified by using rails with snap-on technology. The module can also be operated as stand-alone solution with connection to Profibus using ET 200M.

 

Pre-configuration and a software tool for operation via PC facilitate the installation. Components of control unit can be replaced with a simple adjustment via SIWATOOL U.
