Technicians of MTS MessTechnik Sauerland GmbH participated in a training at PM-Onboard (Vishay Precision Group) in Bradford, UK.
They were trained in an overload protection system for trucks and Vans. Many European countries are using this system already as standard and it could be also of interest for Germany.
The overload system shows how much percent the vehicle is loaded. There are two versions of the system available:
- for larger capacity vehicles up to 60 tonne -> TOS (Truck Overload System) or TruckWeigh with accuracy of +/- 3% and FSD 90-100%.
- for trucks up to 7,5 tonne - > VOS (Van Overload System) or VanWeigh with accuracy of +/- 3% and FSD 90-100%.

The training was accompanied by Marc van Turenhout (Head of Sales Europe) and Wolfgang Maier (VPG-Representative Germany).
There has been a closed co-operation between MTS MessTechnik Sauerland and VPG for several years and the TOS/VOS-System is an interesting addition to the MTS product portfolio.
