The DosWeigh MBH is a compact and robust dosing system for small quantities starting at approximately one litre per hour.
Like all MTS micro feeders, the DosWeigh MBH is specially designed for dosing fine-grained bulk materials such as powders or granulates, which also tend to agglomerate and form bridges. With the DosWeigh MBH, these materials can be weighed very accurately, either continuously or in batches.
The DosWeigh MBH consists of a dosing unit with a dosing screw and horizontal loosening unit, a separate gear block with a common drive for the dosing screw and loosening unit, both mounted on a weighing platform, and a feed hopper.
The dosing unit and dosing screw are made of AISI 316 stainless steel as standard, but the dosing unit is also available in SINTTM plastic as an option.
Further advantages are minimal residual quantities, high-precision weighing, low energy consumption, screw with quick-coupling system as well as feed hopper with vertical paddle for loosening and homogenisation.
The DosWeigh MBH operates gravimetrically. Continuous material removal in the dosing unit is detected by the load cells.
The signal from the load cells is picked up and evaluated by a measuring amplifier. Depending on the performance of the measuring amplifier, the current and total weight are available as data. Differential weighing can also be used to determine the current discharge rate in g/h. The DosWeigh MBH achieves discharge accuracies of +/- 0.5%.
