Data sheet

Description

The IT 8000E Belt is a powerfull control unit for connecting a belt scale load carrier with analogue load cells and a speed encoder for speed measurement.

Equipped with the BELT software, the weighing terminal continuously records the quantity of bulk material conveyed on belt scales and weigh feeders; however, it can also be used for batch operation with quantity preselection and adjustable overrun.

The IT 8000E Belt has MID approval for legal-for-trade conveying and dosing applications. It can be used as a stand-alone system or connected to a PLC or control system via one of the numerous interfaces.

The control unit is equipped with an internal PID controller that adjusts the current conveying capacity to the setpoint by regulating the material feed or belt speed.

The control unit is supplied as standard in a stainless steel housing with an integrated power supply unit as a built-in version for the front door of the control cabinet, optionally also as a desk/wall version.

Features

The control unit IT 8000E Belt has a modular design:

  • Basic device with a high-resolution A/D converter, large 5.7" TFT colour display and operating keys (numeric, QWERTZ and function keys)
  • With BELT software
  • For connection of one load carrier with one or more analogue load cells and one speed encoder for speed measurement.
  • Alibi memory for the last 32,000 data sets;
    Legal-for-trade resolution 10,000 d;
    Internal resolution 524,000 d;
    Measuring rate adjustable 50 to 800 per sec
  • Calibration by entry of load cells and speed encoder data as well as statically using a test weight and dynamically via comparison of conveyed quantity on a reference scale
  • Ethernet interface with integrated web server, optional WLAN
  • Fieldbus interface: Profinet, Profibus DP, Ethernet IP or ModBus TCP/IP
  • Serial interfaces: RS 232 or 485
