Data sheet

Description

These platform scales impress with their robustness, measuring accuracy and attractive price/ performance ratio.

Quick and easy alignment

The scales are equipped with four height-adjustable feet and an integrated spirit level, enabling quick and easy alignment.

Numerous dimensions and weighing ranges

The scales are available in numerous sizes with multiple weighing ranges as standard. Special sizes and higher load ranges can also be manufactured to order. This means that MTS also offers scales with performance data that may exceed the usual standards.

Construction and designs

The platform scales consist of a stable construction and a single-point load cell. The cover plate is precisely fitted and can be removed without tools for maintenance and cleaning. Available in painted normal steel or stainless steel AISI 304 / AISI 316. Alternatively, only the cover plate can be made of stainless steel.

Our in-house production also allows us to make adjustments to existing superstructures. A stable holder for the evaluation and display electronics directly on the scale can also be provided.

Features

The platform scales weigh with high measuring accuracy and reliability and are also approved as legal-for-trade scales for commercial classes III and IIII.

Depending on the respective weighing task, the platform scales are combined with different control units:

  • In combination with the GI 411 control unit, the platform scales can be supplied with manufacturer initial verification as non-automatically regulated scales (NSW).
  • In combination with a corresponding, legal-for-trade control unit, the platform scales can also be used as automatically regulated scales (SWT, SWA). In this case, an additional conformity assessment procedure must be carried out.
  • Connections to processes via fieldbus are also easily possible.

Typical areas of application:

  • Pure weight determination of the container (gross/net)
  • Product control (e.g. filling a shipping crate)
  • Filling processes with coarse and fine flow
