Description

The weigh feeder VBK/EE by Jesma was especially developed for the requirements in the food industry. By default, the VBK/EE is delivered in belt widths from 500 to 950 mm and belt lengths from 1,600 to 3,400 mm. The type and quantity of the material to be weighed determine the belt width and speed.

The weigh feeder can be used likewise for pure weighing as well as for regulation and dosing. It is particularly suitable for the food industry and other industries with high cleaning properties.

 

The scale has a very simple and modular belt construction and comes with a stainless steel design and an automatic belt tensioning system.

 

The value recording is integrated in the belt construction: Two highly precise single-point load cells realize an exact weighing process with long term stability.

 

An ATEX conform design for 21 and 22 zones is optionally available.

Functioning

The continuous material flow rate generates a pressure load upon the weighing section of the weigh feeder.

 

The weight load is recorded via two precision strain gauge load cells. The construction of the weighing section guarantees a very high measuring accuracy. The belt speed is recorded by means of a tachometer generator moving along with the bend pulley.

 

The control unit connected in series combines material weight on the weighing section and belt speed in order to calculate the current conveying capacity in kg/h or t/h.

 

Due to the use of high quality mechanics, drives as well as measuring and weighing sensor technology, the scale produces reliable results with high accuracy.
