The weigh feeder VBS/EE by Jesma is suitable for a multitude of different applications requiring very precise weighing. The scale construction allows an individual adjustment to the respective tasks. Product characteristics and operating conditions are specifically incorporated into the planning and construction of the VBS/EE.


The weigh feeder VBS/EE can be delivered with belt length up to 11,000 mm and belt width up to 1,250 mm.

The weigh feeder is suitable for precise and legal-for-trade weighing and dosing of bulk materials, e.g. for truck and wagon loading, for weighing of extremely light materials such as wood wool or recycling materials as well as for recording and control of material flows in the production process.


Its design allows a large material inlets; thus the weigh feeder can reliably convey and weigh even lumpy material or material which tends to densify.


For optimizing of measuring accuracy the scale VBS/EE can also be equipped with an automatic belt tensioning station.


Depending on the material to be weighed, synthetic or rubber belts are used. They can be either flat, troughed or with a corrugated edge. 


Delivery optionally includes drives with separately driven fan, complete dust enclosure, automatic cleaning floors, spring-loaded belt tensioning station, pull-rope emergency switch and misalignment switch.


An ATEX confom design for zone 21 and 22 is optional.


The continuous material flow rate generates a pressure load upon the weighing section of the weigh feeder.


The weight load is recorded via two precision strain gauge load cells. The construction of the weighing section guarantees a very high measuring accuracy. The belt speed is recorded by means of a tachometer generator moving along with the bend pulley.


In order to further optimize the accuracy, the VBS/EE weigh feeder can additionally be equipped with an automatic belt tensioning station.


The control unit connected in series combines material weight on the weighing section and belt speed in order to calculate the current conveying capacity in kg/h or t/h.
